A woman, a dreamer, an artist, a feminist, a mother, and an occupational therapist, she was born in São Paulo in the 1970s. She grew up amidst the contradictions of an education marked by the rigidity of a convent-like school for girls, during a period when the echoes of the military dictatorship still permeated the classrooms, attempting to mold sensitive, creative, deviant, and atypical bodies.

Constantly shifting in the face of expectations imposed on women, she has built a career in which art, education, and care have intertwined since 1994. Currently, she is a professor at the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro and a member of the multidisciplinary research group ACCORDE — Art, Body, Everyday Life, and Decoloniality — in addition to coordinating the Maria Faceira Arts League.

She is also part of the SIANAS Collective of Multi-Performance Women Artists, a space for creation, listening, and sharing among women, where visual arts, handicrafts, feminist conversations, and networks of affection expand beyond the artistic field and permeate daily life.

She lives in Uberaba, in a 1930s-style house facing a historic square. Surrounded by plants, books, a small dog, two cats, and the constant flow of friends and family, she has built a way of life where conviviality, memory, and creation go hand in hand. Originally from São Paulo, she has joyfully embraced the Minas Gerais rituals of leisurely coffee breaks, unhurried conversation, and shared cheese bread.
